Bringing joy and beauty to Barnet

Last week I had great fun at Lady Sarah Cohen House creating a Chanukah arrangement with residents.

Thank you Pam Dobbins at The Royal British Legion who made us so welcome at the Royal British Legion in Friern Barnet. The weather was lousy outside but we didn’t notice it as we had fun being creative and upcycling. Dolores was thrilled with her wreath.

I bought a new urn to put arrangements in and I love this arrangement

On Saturday 6 October amidst torrential rain I had the great pleasure in sharing my passion for Kokedamas at Grange’s Fun Palace. What we lacked in weather we made up for in fantastic live entertainment and my stall was opposite the stage.

Today I spent a lovely morning making cards at Lady Sarah Cohen House

I was delighted to make this autumnal arrangement for the art show at Goodwin Court

The flowers from Sue Arran enabled me to create a beautiful Hydrangea in a basket for the Barnet Contact Centre.

The fantastically talented Sue Arran of Sue Arran Flowers kindly donated the flowers from a wedding that she'd prepared. From her generous gift I was able to create a number of designs for organisations in Barnet. This hydrangea and delphinium arrangement was prepared for Goodwin Court in East Barnet.

It's been a hugely emotional couple of weeks for football fans worldwide. Even the Floristry world was able to enter into the spirit with these miniature Jules Rimet trophy picks!

I received a large donation of vases and containers from FIN in East Barnet last week and I was able to use one of their containers delivered to Barnet’s contact centre.

I love this bird cage acquired from Mind in Southgate it looks great with the vibrant flowers from Aldi.

I love this jugful of color that I delivered to Barnet Contact Centre.

I spent a wonderful morning at Apthorp Court painting pebbles with Betty, Florence, Margaret and Andreas.

I love using this vase it’s designed for tulips

The double headed daffodils in this arrangement are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you Morrisons.
