Bringing joy and beauty to Barnet

The Molucella was kindly donated by Tivoli Services and Lilian and Gillian loved working with it.

Had a lovely time this afternoon creating ice cream arrangements with the pensioners at Friend in Need, East Barnet. I love the stripy bowls that were kindly donated by Hayes Rees.

Today was Community Barbet’s Nowruz festival and I was only too delighted to donate a Newroz bouquet.

I was thrilled by what Lilian and I managed to achieve during our session today.

Really enjoyed thisvafternoon’s session with 20 members from one of Colindale Trust’s groups. We had a go at Ikebana!

In honour of Chinese New Year my delivery to Friend in Need, East Barnet was in a red bowl.

Tonight at the London Jewish Family Centre in Gilders Green I created 12 table arrangements using the wasted flowers. I was delighted with how they turned out.

On Sunday 20 January I was asked by Lady Sarah Cohen House to provide floral displays for their art exhibition. I had in my mind the idea of using artists’ palettes but it wasn’t until I spoke with my fabously talented neighbour and sculptor Paula that my idea became a reality. She was able to create stands and mount the boards - the rest was down time to paint. I love them.

Last week I had great fun at Lady Sarah Cohen House creating a Chanukah arrangement with residents.

Thank you Pam Dobbins at The Royal British Legion who made us so welcome at the Royal British Legion in Friern Barnet. The weather was lousy outside but we didn’t notice it as we had fun being creative and upcycling. Dolores was thrilled with her wreath.

I bought a new urn to put arrangements in and I love this arrangement

On Saturday 6 October amidst torrential rain I had the great pleasure in sharing my passion for Kokedamas at Grange’s Fun Palace. What we lacked in weather we made up for in fantastic live entertainment and my stall was opposite the stage.

Today I spent a lovely morning making cards at Lady Sarah Cohen House

I was delighted to make this autumnal arrangement for the art show at Goodwin Court

The flowers from Sue Arran enabled me to create a beautiful Hydrangea in a basket for the Barnet Contact Centre.
